Hi, I am Janet Kennedy serving as your representative for Council District Five in the City of Duluth. We can continue making a difference together in building a Western Duluth community of neighborhoods with opportunities for everyone to live, work, and play. I am rooted in the community and have a deep passion and the experience to build what we want to see for today and into the future. Community investment begins with community and my vision includes building on the unique assets that Western Duluth has to offer.
As a lifelong resident of West Duluth, my life experiences, work, education, professional growth in building policies, practices, procedures, and programs that are transformative will serve our Western Duluth and Duluth neighborhoods as a whole.
Currently serving as the President of the Duluth City Council I look forward to the next four years in making a difference together for everyone. I believe our community will prosper as a whole when everyone is walking on even ground.
